Matteo Serra

Matteo got a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cagliari in 2014. His research interests are focused on the area of gravitational physics, with a particular attention to black hole solutions in Einstein-scalar theories of gravity and applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence. He’s author or co-author of 7 publications in this field. After a post-doc position at the Department of Mathematics “Guido Castelnuovo” of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, he moved his interests towards science communication and science writing, joining the Master SGP, a post-graduate course in science communication organized by “La Sapienza”. He also works as math and physics teacher in universities and high schools.
