Ferdinando Napolitano

Ferdinando is a PhD student at the “Università degli Studi di Salerno”.

His research is focused on the characterization of seismogenetic faults in the italian Apennine through the analysis of low magnitude earthquakes: focal mechanisms computation, relative location of clusters through the double-difference algorithm. Pursuing a work started as research assistant at the Università della Calabria, with which still cooperates, he is now working specifically on the 2010 – 2013 Mt. Pollino swarm. He is also working on site effects assessment and soil-structure interaction.
