Giordano Cattani
Giordano currently works as a Senior Design Engineer at the Eindhoven based photolithography market leader ASML where he is responsible for the data analysis and the lead of a group of engineers involved in the latest semiconductor technologies development. He comes from a previous experience as Process Engineer and then Yield Engineer at Intel’s Leixlip campus near Dublin. In 2012 he got his PhD in High Energy Physics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” discussing an experimental thesis on the analysis of the proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, near Geneva, exploiting a Marie Curie Actions grant and an INFN grant. He taught Maths and Physics in Italian public high schools and volunteered in scientific outreach serving as Official CERN Guide. He is co-author of 300+ publications as former member of the ATLAS collaboration.
