Giulio Francesco Aldi

Giulio Francesco is a PhD student at the University of Salerno.

His research project is focused on the Gravitational Lensing by black holes. Currently, he is working on the contribution of the higher order images on the Fe Ka line emitted by an accretion disk surrounding a supermassive rotating black hole. His aim is to determine the emitted Fe Ka line with a semi-analytical approach based on the Strong Deflection Limit formalism, avoiding all the numerical errors that typically affect a numerical integration. Also, he is a member of the MiNDSTEp collaboration, looking for extrasolar planets in microlensing observations toward the bulge of our Galaxy.
