Matteo Serra
Matteo got a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cagliari in 2014. His research interests are focused on the area of gravitational physics, with a particular attention to black hole solutions in Einstein-scalar theories of gravity and applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence. He’s author or co-author of 7 publications in this field. After a post-doc position at the Department of Mathematics “Guido Castelnuovo” of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, he moved his interests towards science communication and science writing, joining the Master SGP, a post-graduate course in science communication organized by “La Sapienza”. Now he works as science communicator at “Fondazione Bruno Kessler” in Trento and collaborates with several scientific magazines and newspapers, including “Le Scienze” (italian edition of Scientific American) and “la Repubblica”.
