The University of Palermo is a 10-minute walk from the Palermo Centrale train station.

There are four ways to reach Palermo Centrale station from Palermo airport "Falcone e Borsellino".

1. By train. This is the fastest and cheapest solution. It is possible to take a regional train from the station located within the airport itself, to the Palermo Centrale station, which is the final destination. The ticket price is about EUR 6.80. More information on costs and timetables can be found on the Trenitalia website, by choosing the journey from Palermo Aeroporto (Punta Raisi) to Palermo Centrale.
2. By bus. The bus terminal is located 50 meters away from the airport: once you get off, turn right and walk for a couple of minutes. The bus final destination is Palermo Centrale station, and it departs every 30 minutes, according to the schedule available at the bus stop. The ticket price is about EUR 7.50.
3. By taxi sharing. The taxi terminal is located next to the bus terminal. Shared taxi departures are more frequent than bus ones, once the minimum number of passengers has been reached. The cost is about EUR 8.00.
4. By taxi. It is possible to take a personal taxi, that has an approximate cost of EUR 50.00.
